Some yards just don’t need any extra decorations. Roses bloom throughout the fall, winter, and spring here. I am not sure if they do over the summer or not.

“A rose by any other name . . . ” would just be wrong. So I’ll leave this one alone and let those lovely roses shine. What a pretty spot of color in your neighborhood! We were supposed to get snow today, and then the forecast changed. Up in your neck of the woods, however, I think they are getting another dose. Hope your travels home for Christmas go smoothly. Dress warm!

The beautiful roses are just another reminder of all the blessings we have every day! Sometimes we forget to be grateful for the little things and look only for the large things to show our gratitude. Some of my most precious blessings are priceless – friendships. I love it when a glorious beautiful sight takes my breath away. This world puts so much emphasis on what beauty is that many beautiful people feel ugly compared to the world’s standard. My son tells his four year old daughter every day that she is the most beautiful little girl in the world.
