Some yards just don’t need any extra decorations. Roses bloom throughout the fall, winter, and spring here. I am not sure if they do over the summer or not.

Here’s a festive Pineapple Palm tree from our neighborhood. We have one like it but not nearly as large.

Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl is having another party and I’m coming.

But first, I have to satisfy a few requirements: 1. Review how well I’ve accomplished last year’s goals. 2. Think about what I want to accomplish with my blog and quilting next year. 3. Write about those goals. 4. Link up to the party. 5. Work on my goals. The first four are easy; the last finds life sometimes getting in the way which was quite evident for 2017.

Wendy of Pieceful Thoughts of My Quilting Life has named each of the decorated cacti I previously featured. You’ll find their cute name and a clever little description of them in the comment section of each post. Go check them out. I wonder what she’ll name this one.

Finally, we got a cloudy day so I could get some good pics. Otherwise, I’d need a huge sunshade..

There’s not much for wind around here this time of year. Can you tell?

They have to be careful putting that hat on and taking it off. No need to worry about snow getting on it, though.

This Saguaro needs a little support during this busy time of year but that’s not stopping his Christmas spirit.

This is our little cactus sporting his new hat. He’s about 12 inches tall.
