Welcome to the release of the seventh block for the Fall Into a QAL.

We arrived at Bluffview Quilt Shop just a few minutes past opening time to pick up our passports and begin this hop. It’s our fifth year of hopping around the state. The gals at Bluffview are just as friendly now as they were when I featured them two years ago (read it here). They told me that this years Quilt MN Shop Hop fabric is going fast. I was able to convince a few yards of the swans on teal background to fly into the car and I quickly closed the hatch to keep them there.

Starting bright and early in the morning (Monday), Tu-Na Helper and I (well maybe only I) will be singing:
We’ll be starting in Winona and working our way around the state. If you happen to see us out and about, do stop and say hi. We’d enjoy talking with you.
I have two blog hop posts scheduled this week. If you’re looking for the Fall Into a QAL post, you can find it here.
Welcome to my day on the Christmas in July Blog Hop hosted by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt. Thanks, Carol, for providing us with this wonderful opportunity to be inspired for making or at least thinking about gift giving.

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas in July Blog Hop. This hop is sponsored by the very generous Sarah of Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Thank you, Sarah.

The 2018 12 Days of Christmas in July Blog Hop started two days ago but there’s still plenty of days left. See below for a complete list of all the blogs offering ideas for your holiday gift giving and decorating. Sarah of Confessions of a Fabric Addict is hosting a holiday themed quilt-a-long and has several giveaways going during the hop. Please visit her blog every day for the free pattern/tutorials and giveaways. There are giveaways offered at many other blogs as well.

It’s time to check in on my goal progress since the year is half over. I wrote the initial post here as part of Quilting JETgirl’s Planning Party.

When Tu-Na Helper and I decided that it was time for us to make our annual migratory trek north in May, I convinced him that we needed to schedule a few hours to stop and visit my friend Melva who blogs at Melva Loves Scraps. After all, we’d be driving within a few miles of her place and I had a plan — an interesting one that included sewing. A plan that I was hoping she’d agree was a good one, too.
Welcome to the release of the fourth block for the Fall Into a QAL.
