I spend my winters in the Sonoran desert around Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve loved the saguaro cactus from the first time I’ve seen it. Click here or here to read more about what I wrote about these majestic beauties.

2018 was a very busy year and I suspect that 2019 will be, too. Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl is hosting the 2019 Planning Party here and I decided to join in the fun. After all, the ND house is once again quiet and I’m not heading back to AZ until tomorrow.

I’ve not been very good at writing goals. Well, actually, I’ve been very good at writing goals BUT I’ve NOT been very good at achieving them. Here’s hoping that 2019 will be different.
It’s that time of year to reflect on projects done and posts written.

I’m joining Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs for the Best of 2018 Linky Party. Thanks Cheryl for putting this together.
Now this is my kind of eating!! I hope you also enjoy this no-calorie trip to other quilt bloggers who have set aside their rotary cutters and fabric and have reached for bowls and spoons in order to whip up some fun seasonal treats for you to enjoy. Maybe you’ll find a new favorite that will become part of your family tradition.
Welcome to the Virtual Cookie Exchange hosted by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt. Thanks, Carol. You will find the list of participating bloggers at the end of this post.

Thanks to Carla at Creatin’ in the Sticks for hosting this festive event. See below for a list of other bloggers showcasing some quilty pumpkins this week.
I’ve got a pumpkin project to show but before I do, I have a few pictures of a real European Pumpkin Festival.
